Bought a super cheap SR20 T25 turbo that has a good center section, but has two broken off studs on the 5 bolt flange. Anyone happen to have a blown turbo with a good turbine housing? If it can fit the SR T25 CHRA I'm open to v-band etc for the outlet.
I have an exhaust housing off a SR20 turbo I would be willing to sell. On the 4 bolt section where the CHRA bolts in you can see the metal is a little warped in the shiny areas. I dont know what happened as it was that way when I got it. Should still seal fine as the inner section is still intact.
I took a spare bolt that I had on another housing and made sure it could bolt all the way in on all 4 holes on the CHRA side. I dont have any spare studs to test the exhaust side. I visually inspected them and there was nothing that would make me thing they were not fine as well.
I forgot to mention the bolt holes on the flange that bolts to the manifold is drilled out to 10mm vs 8mm. I believe 8mm is stock. It was drilled out to use stronger studs.
Interesting, yours has a 6 bolt pattern where the CHRA bolts to the housing. Is that common?
I bough it has a complete Nissan turbo off of eBay years ago. I believe it is a 2560r (T28) housing. My mistake. I have a T25 that I should have posted pics of. It is ceramic coated and has a waste gate diverter welded in.
