Default WTB: sorted hipo car (going to be a track mostly car)

looking for a fully sorted track car. Highest HP cars need not apply, as I am not that fast (in the head). I am still learning, but I sold my 340hp 3800lb S4, as it sucks brake pads for breakfast. So, I want a cheap daily driver and a cheap race car.

What do you have? I do not turn wrenches, or diagnose, etc, so, i am in a conundrum. How do you buy something thats fully sorted, ready to go out of the box, with it being cheap? Tough.

Anyway, I live in Canada, which adds to my costs to acquire too, which sucks.

I will get car mechanically inspected too, and then have to ship to Montana, or Washington state.

Ideally, budget in the $5-6k range. Its just going to be a track rat, so pretty cars need not apply.

I'm thinking that not turning wrenches has got to make owning a track car exponentially more expensive- ? I sure as hell wouldn't by a turbo car if I wasn't willing to wrench, much less a track car. Stock powered Miata with some good tires and suspension is probably going to yield the least amount of headaches when it comes to a track car.

  • Track Car, but well built
  • No mechanical ability to troubleshoot
  • and cheap?

If I were looking for a headache-free car and too lazy to turn wrenches I would just do a nice N/A setup with a lot of proven Racing Beat products.
