WTB: NA/NB tow bar base plates
Just like the title says, I'm looking for a set of base plates to attach a tow bar to my NA. They attach using the baby teeth fasteners and I think a couple models go as far back as the sway bar mounts so fitment is the same between the NA & NB. There were a couple of companies who made this in the past, including Blue Ox, Roadmaster, and I think Rennenmetal? When there was competition in the market and 3-4 companies making these mounting bases they were super cheap, but now there is just one source for new ones (Roadmaster) and they are incredibly proud of them, based on the price. It's literally buy a new set of 200TW trackday tires OR a pair of brackets, no joke.
I'm not about to buy a larger truck to accommodate a larger trailer that I also don't own, so I'd like to give flat towing a shot. Feel free to pass this request on to anyone you know that might have a set gathering dust or quietly rusting away holding down the front of their race car. I also have a WTB on m.net if that's a more "friendly" place to direct people.
Thanks!

I've got a set I'm ready to part with. Forget the brand. They bolt on to the 3 baby teeth bolt spots as 1" receiver tubes then you can easily remove the heavy flat tow parts. You can see the right side still has the 3d printed license plate / fog light bracket on it. I couldn't comfortably tie down to the trailer so put the baby teeth back on.

@natewin Thanks for the reply! I think I may have stumbled on to someone locally who is ditching the entire base plate, tow bar and light assembly from a Spec Miata. It would be ideal because its all pieces that are known to work with a Miata, but he hasn't given me a total yet. Give me a little time to work out details and I'll let you know. Thanks for the reply!
