WTB: Adaptronic 420c
I suffered a catastrophic ECU failure before MRLS and had to drive my street car in A group . I don't want to do that again so I need to replace the ECU. Yes, I know I should just go MS so please don't suggest that. I'm going to look for a used Adaptronic first for three reasons:
1. It will plug into my very custom wiring harness with no further tinkering.
2. I have a good, recent tune on this platform and something different would require another day on the dyno which is around $1,000 including the dyno, fuel to drive there, consumables and a day of my life I could be doing something else.
3. The car ran great when it ran. I don't need a bunch of fancy features like traction control, flex fuel, anti-lag, etc. Just timing and fuel and reasonable protection against blowing up.
I have a Select in the box but there are too many quirky wiring details to simply plug into the factory harness. I'm planning to put that in the street car over the winter because it has an unmolested harness. My plug-n-play solution for the track car is the older 420c. If I can't find one, I'll punt and change platforms properly. People used to run these and I'm probably the last guy on the planet willing to pay you money for yours so let me know what you've got!

I missed seeing my track car there too! The MSM did an admiral job of tormenting the modestly driven Specs and was quick enough to mostly get out of the way of the fast cars. I didn't know there was a turbokitty convention. I had beers with the 949 guys Saturday and the rest of the weekend was a little boring. I'm not used to going to the track and not thrashing between every session to keep the car running...
