my buddy just scrapped a type 2 rx7 and has the lsd for sale 450

Ouch. That's quite a payday. Hopefully he can get that price. I'm not sure if the market would support that though.

You are definitely not going to find one from around here for that low of a price. $300+ is more realistic.

i notice alot of ppl changing their torsen to the rx7 cluth lsd. Is there a paticular reason why. Where i can find a rx7 lsd rebuild kit cheap?

rx7 clutch type is stronger and locks when any torque is applied to the driveshaft.

What years did the RX7 come with a Clutch type diff. Can you take that diff and just put it inside the 04 carrier.

****. I feel a lot better about paying $140 for mine now. I thought I overpaid.

BTW - 86-88 GXL and the 88 GTU were the only cars that came with clutch diffs from the factory.

I changed because I fucked my Torsen up in a big way.

and the 84-85....as in my FAQ. yes they do, mines from an 84.

If you want a rx7 lsd try 915racing.com, he has them from time to time. and also post at rx7club.com
