Am following with interest, after our own little escapade with a WTB for MX5/Miata rear doors drew some keen sellers.
Yes to 'day job', no to local, at least I would be very careful throwing locals' names around this thread, because a) you might be wrong, b) if they get to hear about it .... Be different if you have more than the person's name linking them. If they are treating it as a day job, my guess would be Nigeria or China, but surprisingly I have been wrong before

Photoshop a screenshot showing you sent the payment in the correct amount and to the correct address. Then go back and forth with him about "i sent it"

That should keep him busy for a minute
