I need one of these rigs. My trans came with the newer shifter so I had to rig up a shifter bushing to fit the bigger pivot ball. Its far from ideal. Please PM if you happen to have a first generation 6 speed shifter laying around. Thanks.

I may be wrong but I believe that the 99-05 5-Speed and the 99-00 6-Speed shifters are the same part. The 2nd gen 6-speeds (LS/Mazdaspeed) came with a different shifter. Its something worth double checking as I have both units available. $18+shipping for the 5-Speed (First gen 6-speed) shifter from 94080. Let me know if you want to have this put through.

They switched over in 01 to the bigger ball. He needs a small ball shifter.
