Default Anyone have a useable 1.8 clutch/throwout/pilot bearing for cheap/free?

My friend needs a clutch until he can save up for an FM1. Anyone have a stock clutch disk/bearings that were still usable when they took them off to upgrade?

Background: it's a 91 turbo he picked up cheap (and I am totally responsible for him getting it) and he got laid off the month after he got it. Clutch is slipping now and I think a stock 1.8 will hold, at least for a little, where the 123k mi 1.6 clutch isn't. Boost gauge says it is making 9psi at redline, but it is running a voodoo, stock 1.6 injectors, and stock FPR, so no way that is true since it is not going lean (stays at 11.5afr at redline according to the inovate LC2). My bet is closer to 6-7psi max. He is getting a 1.8 flywheel with a free stock pressure plate this weekend.

I have a used ACT organic disc available, was working fine when removed. It’s from a FWD BP but I think the clutch is the same?

Or if you want really cheap check out rockauto:

I have a clutch disk sitting around that I got when I bought a replacement transmission. Let me know if your interested and I can send you some pics of it.

I've got an unsprung disk. It's higher than stock torque and brand new, but unsprung so... I also have a used throughout bearing with about 5k miles on it that came with a fm happy meal. If interested I'll look up the details on the disk. It would be $50 shipped for both.

Do you guys thing the FM is worth it. Been considering exedy stage 1 since its only 280 with free 2 day shipping on amazon. for new FM pp and disk they want like 380 after shipping.

better yet, suggest friend sells car until he can actaully afford to own one...
