Default tire and wheel clearance questions? NA 225 45 15

hi im picking up a set of rims and tires tomorrow and im wondering if ill have fender to tire clearance issues. the wheels are rota slip stream 15x7 with RA1 225 45 15 tires on them. my car is a NA lowered about 2.5 inches on kyb agx and not sure of the brand of springs. my ride height is not adjustable.

would i just be able to get away with a good 'ol fender roll?

thanks

Depends on WHEEL (not rim) offset. 225 45 15 is going to be a race tire, and has much better clearance than a 225/50-15 street tire. Most offsets will be fine, you start running into issues with 50 tires and lowered suspension. Search around, there was a good tire thread just a bit ago.

Yes.

The lowest offset rota slipstream 4x100 15x7 is +25, which should clear without problem if you have a good 'ol fender roll and your camber is not positive.

Sounds like you'll be right on the money with a 7" +35 and the 225s'.

i fitting the wheels on yesterday and they had no issues drove around took some turns but not too fast since the road was wet.. had no rubbing issues at all. but im still gonna flare out the rear fenders because they will probably rub at the track.

Ypu really don't want to run a 225 on a 7 for roadracing. It will make it feel numb on turn in. Try a 205 when those wear out. If this is for autox than disregard and stuff the most you can fit.

i will be using it for road coarse. i talked to a guy with a miata and he ad some even fatter tires on narrow rims and said it was not that bad. but mine dont stick out that bad so ill see how it goes.
