Default 17" 6UL coming Spring 2015

Our 17" flowformed 6UL is going into production late March. Should have wheels here mid May. Offsets will be published when we begin accepting pre-paid orders in March. 17x9 will be about 16.9 lbs, 17x10 about 17.8 lbs. Our dealers will have these too of course. "CAD rendering" means it is a computer generated image from the design and engineering software, not a photograph of a wheel. We will post pics of the samples when we have them in about 4 weeks. More widths and bolt patterns coming later in 2015.

First production run:
17x9 5x114.3
17x9 5x100
17x10 5x100
17x10 5x114.3
S2000, FRS, BRZ, STi, NC, FD, RX8, WRX, Legacy, TSX, RSX and more
Yes we will have ND specific fitments Details TBA

To be kept up to date on this wheel, like our facebook page or send us an email and ask to be on our mailing list for product updates

Rendering tech is pretty amazing now days. It's hard to tell the difference without looking very closely.

I'm loving the facebook post where every fifth comment is a question asking what the offsets will be.

I know people have been asking for different diameters for years of the 6UL, so I'm glad you are going to be able to fill that need. I always like to see small racing supply businesses be able to expand and hopefully the added logistics of doubling your wheel selection isn't too much of a headache.

Just curious - what CAD package are you guys using to design the wheels?

Look me up, srs. I've been trying to find a set since I bought the WRX.

This actually brings up a relevant question: this is not just a re-issue of the 6ULR? Other than the obvious "these are available, those are not" what are he practical differences?

Wasn't trying to offend you, Emilio. Like I said, I was just curious.

Anyways, I think the 17's would look great on an S2000. Looking forward to seeing some more pictures.

Will do. I will wait until these new 17's are available for preorder and a price/color options are known.

I'm interested in knowing this too, but so far the new wheel looks to have a flatter face giving the wheel a deeper dish look, which is what I"m looking for. Not sure if the face/dish look changes with width and offset.

All of the 6UL's are clean sheet of paper designs. Beyond the obvious visual differences, we changed the brake clearance a bit, more for some brakes, less for others. We deleted for example, ST40 clearance with our S2000 specific 17x9. Too few S2K owners actually have that kit and want 17x9s. On the flip side, we do have clearance for the smaller of the two available Stop Tech kits on the FRS. Oh yeah, the current wheel is lighter and stronger then the 6ULR from 2009.

Are 17x11's a possibility? I have two sets on 17x9 on my Mazdaspeed6 but would love to jump to wider tires. If 17x10 are the widest, a 35-40 offset would be nice. On the 11's, +25 would work nicely.

Scheduled for production later this year. Engineering phase nearly complete. Tooling phase starts in about a week. Offset, PCD, weight, price TBA.
