I once almost bought a turbo 300zx. The synchros in the transmission were the only thing holding me back from doing so. The two z car specialty shops that I called both told me that replacing the synchros wasn't a realistic endeavor.
Why are you going to all this trouble to make a drift car using probably the worst platform you could possibly come up with?
I'm not drifting. I'm using it purely as an example of hard/abusive driving. Something that might be drawn more parallel to track racing than a street car.
110whp at the last dyno. I'm exploring the option for a project and also for the miata communinty as a whole and would share if I found things to be easy to do.
Unfortunately this is not a dune buggy, and the problem is much more complex than just an adapter plate and input shaft. Good luck though, interested to see your progress.
