Hey @Kanaan , not trying to thread jack, but how do you like that turbo? I've been thinking about upgrading to one.

Manual housings really suck to cut off with a grinder, need to pull the one in the car now and measure it up and what not. Dont think i wrote all the measurements down as good as i wanted to...

Quite the fiasco with the car over the last few days. Decided since the old housing was off the car id just try to weld it up a bit better instead of making the new one just yet, did that still turned out crappy but is what it is at this point, cleaning/preheating and stuff nothing helped too much with just all the junk in the cast, a bit of porosity here and there but at this point it is waht it is.. Ended up stripping every allen bolt head but 3 on the pressureplate and cutting them was very sketchy since its under pressure, Idk who in their right mind uses allen head bolts for crucial hard to remove fasteners but whatever, another 70$ wasited on arp's. Welding the housing threw it off .02" so now i have to make my own offset dowels to correct that so another rabbit hole. Hoping it doesn't throw the starter alignment off too much as it has to go in the 10 oclock direction.

Holy crap dude. Lots of exciting things going on here.
My bellhousing and pressure plate bolts are both allen head type. I'm not too worried about the bellhousing bolts since they're mostly 8 and 10mm, but I'm not looking forward to removing the PP bolts if the clutch/flywheel ever have to come out.
Mine are all socket head type though, so are a bit deeper. Those button heads seem ill-suited to the task they had haha.
Hope you're able to push through and get it all back together cleanly!
