cool so I’m likely not grenading my **** and it’s just gear rollover/chatter/whine lol. Sorry I picture whine as a high pitch squeel or acceleration whine and this was yeah I’d also call it whine with a bit of gravel lol

How did the quicktime bellhouse fit over the fly wheel? Mine is tight... have been attacking it with a flapper disk to make some room.

Did you ever fight any vibration issues with your swap? me and another guy that tkx swapped around the same time are fighting vibration issues past like 75-100 mines real bad past 90 but its just random and the other guy has a ford 8.8 swap so i dont think its my ppf, ive tried bracing my ppf to my subframe with no luck either... and techniocally have had 2 drivesahfts (this one re tubed once)

I had a vibration when I first swapped but I didn't balance the driveshaft. After getting it balanced its 80% better. You get your pinion angle set correctly?

As far as i can tell, using a digital angle finder its within like .1 degrees which should be fine being parallel up and down. Side to side was having a hard time checking that but the diff is what it is on side to side the transmission and engine appear straight so if they are parallel i figured they should be fine. Up to like 60 its normal miata smooth, i dont think its that classic miata speed shimmy seems really violent for that but maybe disturbed the chassis enough to make that worse, really not sure at this point... Mine didnt change much from my first driveshaft to when they rebuilt/retubed it and rebalanced.
