threaded coil-over sleeves
Bilstein B4BOA0000117 - Bilstein Coil-Over Sleeve Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com
AFCO Racing 20125A-7 - AFCO Racing Coil-Over Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com
have any of you tried these sleeves? What where your impressions?
I will be using a set on Stewart re-valved NB Bilsteins. Will i need to remove the tabs from the side of the Bilstines?

No experience with those, but we use these on all of our Bilstein SM suspension kits at work. If memory serves me you would use ALL64143 @ $36 retail. Seems a big price difference with the name, just another option to consider.
The only difference I see is the AFCOs are blue, have a different style collar, and come with two zip ties and a pin which you wouldn't use with top hats anyways.

If you're in to saving money, a popular solution is to buy ebay springs for $50 shipped that include threaded collars and just ditch the springs. Never done it myself, but used to read about it all the time on either this board or m.net, forget which. Not sure if it's an outdated trick though.

Will these basically slip into the Bilstein without ANY modification or fabbing required and be able to run a 7'' spring at 12'' ride height? The problem I've found from reading about the Bilsteins + ebay sleeves is there is no adjustable perch and you can't get low enough with 7'' springs by just resting the sleeve on the perch provided by Bilstein.

wow! thanks for that info! I looks like it is designed for 7'' springs? This is PERFECT. Just the info I've been searching for for like a week.

Koni sleeves:
Needs (4) 80.0000.0005, (4) 80.0000.0006, (2?) 15.29.04.003.0 - I believe the upper spring perch is not needed and optional. The adatpers allows the use of 2.5" springs as the the perches are designed for 2.25" ID springs. This will run you about $90 for 4 corners. The design is best since the threaded sleeve will go lower than the cir-clip and it uses one perch that locks.
Whats the OD of the Bilsteins? They have 50mm sleeves as well.
Code:
42MM ID THREADED SLEEVES & COMPONENTS (fits most 80-, 8040-, 8041-, 8042- series dampers with 2 1/4" ID springs) SET INCLUDING: Threaded sleeve, lower spring perch, and 25mm upper spring perch (figure A) 80.0000.1 SET INCLUDING: Threaded sleeve, lower spring perch, and 40mm upper spring perch (figure B) 80.0000.2 Threaded Sleeve 80.0000.0005 Lower spring perch with locking set screw 80.0000.0006 25 mm upper spring perch (figure A) 80.0000.0007 40 mm upper spring perch (figure B) 80.0000.0008 Nylon 2 1/4" to 2 1/2" ID spring adapters (2 needed) 15.29.04.003.0

We use the 5" sleeves not 7" sorry. You do need 2" sleeves. I know we carry them at $33ea, so $129 for a set. If you know the spring rates and lengths needed we can get any combo imaginable from Eibach or Hyperco. Springs usually run $60ea.

Search yielded nothing. :(
Spoke to good people over at "Advanced Autosports" (please, not to be confused with "douched Advance Auto Parts"), and, 5" (same length as FCM) anodized aluminum Bilstein-fit threaded sleeves, used by the shop on all their Spec cars is on its way to me for $150 shipped (gotta love the $9.95 flat UPS rate)
Springs next.

Yes, Michael, it was me, Al.
I spoke at length with Ann, ans she assured me that as soon as your boss gets back from Road Atlanta, sleeves are gonna get their own item #, and she is gonna email me the details.
I'll write up here and on m.net my experience, so I can point people over to your site.
Thanks again!

Pulling this back up, been trying to figure out which ebay sleeve kit to get for my bilsteins and have no idea which one to look for.
Don't have access to a machine shop, just looking for something that works.
Could anyone help me out here?
Edit: Does this look right? No mention of ID though. :/ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-95...ht_3035wt_1151
