I installed my Boxmount kit earlier today, it's a really well put together kit. I guess I got lucky because I didn't have to use any of the shims. I haven't had the chance to really put it through its paces, but the shakedown drive felt good. I'm really pleased with kit, thanks Supermiata guys.

Still pretty early in development on the BX1175. I believe the largest Konig wideopen is a 15x8, correct? If so, our BX1175 will definitely not fit. This is going to be for big wheelie bois only, the caliper is huge. More information as we get further into development.

No news. We were not able to get the 1.25 rotor to fit the way we wanted so we tossed out that work and went back to a 1.1. We were able to keep the road or mass the same as the 1.25 by increasing the vane count though, which are the critical metrics for surface area and thermal mass.
We also went deeper into the ducting design. Really proud of what we came up with. I think it will set a new standard for off-the-shelf brake kits for the early chassis.
No ETA as yet.

Awesome, thanks for the update and very excited to see these come to fruition!

We'll start a new thread, post all over social media and notify our mailing list when the time comes. Really excited about the kit and what we came up with but that's all confidential for now. First round of testing done. A few revisions that need testing. The usual R&D stuff.

Just curious, but what is everyone pairing these with, as far as brake pads? Aside from street use, I do some auto-x and the occasional track day, and I currently run StopTech Sport pads front and rear. Does StopTech make a sport pad in this pad shape, or is something like the G-Loc R6 a comparable match to something like that? I also see Wilwood has a BP-20x pad, and there's also a Raybestos ST-43 pad.

FWIW we are happy to consult on this via email, but can answer the question here too.
The R6 is autocross specific and is not for track use. If you're JUST doing autox, R6. If you're doing multi-use track/autox/street, you don't want the R6.
Can't weigh on the StopTech or Raybestos stuff, but for your use we would say GS1 on the street (and this will probably work well for autocross), and R10 front/R8 rear on the track. The R10/R8 work at autox too, you just want to drag the brakes a bit on your way to staging to get them into their temp zone.
