Subscribed for the 11.75" kits. Will they use Superlite?

With 20mm 7420 pad, yes. Thicker rotor than any other BBK. Integrated 3" brake ducts. No ETA yet.
We will start a new thread for the BX1175 kit.

We just added a Brake FAQ to our Tech Info Page
Hopefully some of the info in the article will be useful to some of you.

Here is a chart from the FAQ

Very much useful, that's the first time I've seen a chart with that data.

The whole article makes me wonder whether I was correct in including a prop valve in my MK60 ABS retrofit. Apparently the stock master cylinder for the MK60 cars uses 25mm/22mm pistons front/rear (approximately 1", 7/8"). It's a discussion for a different thread, but it might be interesting to try to run that master and remove the prop valve.

My impression is that the mk60 system does its own proportioning electronically and adding an external prop valve is more likely to confuse it than to help matters any.

Isn't ABS itself effectively a proportioning valve? For each wheel individually and separately (for Teves), for NBs individual fronts and rears paired? Are you suggesting there is an additional function in the Teves (only?) which regulates line pressure below the ABS threshold?

Back on-topic: Re the 11.75 kit, will the caliper be available with a dust seal option? My car is dual duty, and needs to be compliant with our road rules which mandate dust seals.

11.75 kit will not use the dust seal variant of the Superlite

"electronic brakeforce distribution" is electronic proportioning. The ABS system can be used to lower the line pressure going to the rears even before they lock up, similar to the way a mechanical proportioning valve works only better.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electr...e_distribution

I think the mk60 does this in the stock config.

Mk60 stuff is interesting but definitely needs its own thread.

Quick reference chart to help choose rear pads to keep brake bias balanced with our BX11 front BBK. The piston area and rotor diameters of the Sport Brakes require a bigger compensation than NA6 and NA8/NB1 brakes.

Another pic of the 2 piece rotor option so folks can see the backside. Rotor are left and right handed directional vane. Hats are hub-centric, no adapter rings required. Can't really see the orange hats once the wheel is on unless you standing next to the wheel.

These rings for our NA/NB BX11 kit will also bolt directly to an ND. 2 piece rear NA8/NB1 9.9 and Sport 10.8" rear rotor options coming mid year.

Excuse the fingerprints and few scratches. Pics are of pre-productions parts that were road tested

The main BBK page offers the option to omit most of the extra bits. Check it out.

Eventually yes, you'll be able to purchase BX11 brackets separately or 2 piece rotors separately. First production run is focused on complete kits. Check the site later in February.

Some new pics to show production pieces.

This image shows the bracket orientation w/o the caliper

Patented Boxmount bracket & brace assembly

Here you can see the open area we designed to improve cooling airflow to the center of the rotor and hub. An integrated aluminum 3" brake duct kit will be available by June 2021 for the BX11.

Any chance you can test fit a 16 wheel with the upcoming superlite kit? I read a 1.25 rotor is a no go with up to 8" width but would like to see it confirmed by you guys.
