My God some of you people make de-powering a rack a **** of a process.
All I did was remove the damn reservoir, pull the pump and cut the lines going to the rack..then I just tucked the lines aside and let them bleed out any extra fluid. I drove around for over 2 years like this with no problems....so **** all the people whining about getting dust in the system or leaving the lines open and ****.

ROFL.
Seriously, is a $2 variety pack of vacuum caps NOT worth it? I think not.
On a side note, I'll never know whether I love it or not, as I have nothing to compare it to on the Miata. I've yet to drive the "project" so my first time will be w/o PS.
I know for DAMN sure though I'll never put the PS back on for my driving purposes. After taking it off I was able to clock my turbo and fab my FMIC piping SO much easier than cutting through the wheel well and running the CAI behind the radiator (making it a HAI).
Plus w/ PS pump, braket, resevoir, and lines, i bet I dropped 8 lbs off the nose. Was able to fab + weld my hot side pipes so I'll only have 2 coulers, one on the turbo and one on the IC.
I love how it looks now. Simple. Now I want to remove the charcoal canister to open up some room on the intake side.
