I just finished rebuilding my motor with forged internals so I now can shove as much boost through it without it blowing up, but I still I have a 5 speed in my car and I know I will have to upgrade if I want to use a large turbo. I've decide that I want to go with a kraken low mount with either a psr2867 or an efr6758. I know that if run the efr I will have to use a bmw trans, and after doing a bit of research the getrag 260 seems to be the ideal choice, but if used the weaker 2867 would I be able to use a NB 6 speed? This car is a dedicated track car so it won't see serious street use, nor will I take it to drag races often if at all, If I were to rebuild a 6 speed and do the circlip mod would it stand up to the abuse of a 2867, or will I need a bmw trans for that big of a turbo for track duty?
