Default Forgive me for I have sinned | XTD clutch w flywheel

Had my engine out this winter. Making all the mods at the same time (will be funny when issues arise) and while spending good money on ID1000, ms3 etc I cheap out on the clutch and flywheel.
I have only felt the clutch while wheels free and engine running (waiting for manifold etc) and it felt good and disengages np.

My only real issue at least this far is that my throw out bearing seems to "catch" on the tranny sleeve its running on.
While engine not running I press the clutch and while releasing clutch I get a quite loud "tick" sound from the bell housing.

To my real question, should I be worried? Have not felt it nor heard it while engine running.

Neg cat me all the way to Kazakhstan but yes if all fails I get a happy meal from FM

FML I'm bad at explaining things.

Is the shaft lubed up? (giggity)
It should slide freely back and forth, and I can't think of anything on there that it would "catch" on so I'd look further into that.

FWIW the last XTD clutch I operated was the worst engaging clutch I've ever used, and I absolutely hated life every time I had to drive on it. Gordon (EO2K) is the proud owner of that car now and can confirm this statement

I put some grease from my girlfriend called Molly.
Everything slides quite good.
But checked on the OEM bearing and there is some notches on the inside.

I suspect while the clutch is brand new the bearing needs to go quite far to disengage and that's what causes my problem.
May I live in my la la land and think that it will get better once the clutch is broken in?

Also, this is the sprung 6 puck clutch. My though at the time was that if I'm going to buy the worst clutch possible, it needs to be the best one available.

Me and my brain need to take a vacation from each other

Be sure to follow the FM specs for adjusting clutch pedal. It really does make a difference.

Thanks for reminding me. Been a while since I read up on clutches.

Recently installed a "4 point lift" at work so changing clutches just got easy.
Will do a proper break in and then punish that Chinese clutch best I can, let's see how it turns out.

they are hit and miss. if yours is a hit, then it should work fine, only have rough engagement
