Default flywheel step cut dims.?

Does anyone have the measurement for the step cut on a 1.8 flywheel? had mine resurfaced recently and I had to adjust my clutch pedal all the way out, or else it would never fully disengage. It never felt right either. now its appart and I want to get it figures out.

FM2 pressure and disk.

EDIT: the step cut refers to the difference in height, from mounting stanchions (where you bolt the PP to) to the flywheel friction surface. I found that the protege is supposed to be .785, but not sure if that translates to a miata. anyone have a stock 1.8 flywheel laying around to measure?

I have 2 stock [not sure if resurfaced at some point]

1 = .780
2 = .782

New FM flywheel = .798

Take your pick.

Talked to FM today, the say 20mm +/-.5mm / .787v" is the required step cut.

Nice to know the new one I have from them is within their own tolerance. 1.0mm total tolerance sure seems like a lot though.
