Can I use corrado rotors with my wilwood 11" bbk?
I have the same wilwood setup on my civic and miata. I haven't been able to track it out with the miata (lame friends won't drive my stuff to the track!) but it feels great on the civic except the pad wear is high (trying some different pads) and the rotors get chewed up (mucho $). I needed to drive my civic (need a new dd) , so I used some new corrado rotors I had laying around and put the washers between the wilwood brackets and the hub instead of between the bracket and the caliper, which moved the caliper outboard by four thin washers worth. The corrado rotor is the same diameter and sits in the middle of the caliper. I think I might not be able to fit new rotors and new pads (short by 1 mm) but it seems to feel and work great on the street.
I would need to use the spacer rings (come with m-tuned kit) if I put the corrado rotors back on the miata, but is there some reason I shouldn't do this? (the wilwood bracket doesn't lay flush with the hub anymore) I really do like the feel of the wilwood calipers even if they don't necessarily stop me faster.
I am very sorry if this has been covered before and i didn't find it. Thank you.
