Default Anyone had issues with Garage Star diff bushing fitment?

I installed the GS diff bushings, but the rubber fingers on the lower mount covers don't even come close to touching the diff case. The diff can move about 0.5" up and down and causes a bunch of noise and clunking.

Will have to get when I get home. I am driving the car and it is far too low to get a good pic.

I feel like you've done the install wrong. The nut on the stud that goes through the mount should be clamping that metal piece with the rubber fingers to the diff casing. I think you put that nut on in the wrong spot.

Wut?

The nut is the last thing I installed. It cannot push the rubber fingers to touch the diff because the delrin bushing stops the cupped portion of the mount. While the bushing is tight between the body of the car and the lower mount cup thingy, the diff case ears can move along the height of the bushing up and down.

You put the flange of the delrin part at the top right?

Well thats odd. I dont know what to tell you then. I'm kind of glad now that I ended up just buying ebay FC delrin diff mounts for my car because garage star was out. They fit well enough.

The delrin bushing should be shorter than the case. If the bushing is sticking out then its too big.
