Default Anyone "downgrade" from sport brakes?

So, I made an impulsive decision and bought a set of work wheels (cr01) for my msm.... I love them, they're gorgeous, and the 15x8 +20 sizing is awesome and not too stancey. Problem is, I spent a great deal of money on a set of wheels and some r compounds, and they don't fit without a 5mm spacer and the removal of about 1/16th" from the edge of the front calipers. That 5mm is enough to cause annoying issues with the fenderwells that I don't want to deal with by removing liners and such. In addition, I think the car would look much better with a +20 rather than an effective +15 offset.

I'd consider swapping the sport brake calipers for something with a smaller footprint,, but I'm not going to impulse buy more expensive parts that might not solve a problem that a 40 dollar set of spacers has already "solved" for me.

Any suggestions (other than go play on the other forum with my dumb questions)?

For a minute there I thought this was CR.

whew

But to answer the question: yes it's possible and not difficult if you wanted to do it.
