Yeah there are lots of 15x7 choices, but when you want to go wider than that it gets slim.
Awesome to know about the TD1.2s, I like the idea of running 7" wheels on the street for cheap cheap tires. |

Going wider opens you up to a couple of 9" options. The problem is if you want to stay in the 15x8" selection, it seems like you are pretty much left with 6ULs and maybe the TRM C1. I already have a set of bronze 6ULs and really enjoy them, but I kind of like the idea of a different set of wheels, especially because I'd like to pick them up in the next few weeks and 6ULs always seem to have a multiple month lead time. |
Sorry, I meant that there are lots of 15x7 wheels in general, not that there are lots of 15x7 wheels that fit the TSE BBK. In fact until you bumped this thread I didn't know there were ANY 15x7 wheels that fit with the BBK, hence I was only looking at 8" and up. Which, as you mentioned, is a graveyard compared to 15x6 and 15x7.
I feel the same about the 6ULs. I have a set of 15x7s now (dumb, I should have gotten 15x8s) and will definitely have a set of 15x9s for the track with track rubber on them in the future. If I can find something else that is reasonably inexpensive, light, and fits the BBK for the street I am interested. Otherwise I'll probably just run 15x8 6ULs with the spacers. |

Why on 7'' Team Dynamics vs 9'' 6UL ?!? Care to elaborate Andrew ?
I have a free set of T.D. 1.2 collecting dust and was thinking to buy another set of 15x9 6UL to replace 15x8 6UL for rain set... your comment intrigue me. Waiting for your answer! |

... Should I be worried :hustler: about tracking my weaksauce car with a 5mm spacer or is that only a concern for fast guys? |
They fit under my daisies.

Trey's wheels are 15x8 +40s, which has the same geometry as a +36 with 4mm less hub thickness, so they will sit closer to the brakes. +36s fit just fine with a single 5mm spacer.

0.100" is the clearance required at the bell of the wheel for a wheel to "fit" our brakes.
