VD can be plenty accurate if you input all the info correct ie actually weigh the car ect. It is as reliable as any other dyno considering there is such a large swing dyno to dyno. Unless coming dyno jet to dyno jet...those will throw down the most reliable back to back out puts dyno to dyno.
But still track is where its at.
Judging by that 1/8th mile the car most likely is a 120mph high 11 second car given that 25 in the back half is average or so for most cars 30+ would be solid but i doubt a supercharged miata will back half well.

DynoJets are inertial dynos, so they're simple and cheap to buy. This means that they're usually the most prevalent, the cheapest to rent, and also the most consistent from location to location. This makes them good for "I'm going to get a dyno sheet to post on mt.net to shut everyone there up".
If you want to tune it to find MBT, then a load-holding dyno like a Dynapack gives more flexibility in the speed at which the RPM moves through cells. It costs more to rent per hour, but you'll spend fewer hours at it than with a Dynojet.

Low end is weak, but the only time I'm down there is in low gears when I'm having trouble with traction anyway. Plus like you said, it keeps torque down which will hopefully keep my half-assed setup in one piece.

Calling a 75-100 Lb TQ advantage over a ~3000RPM band sad.
Lots of mention of VD.
All joking aside, I don't really give 2 half-hearted ***** about boost pressure. If the system can supply it reliably, with low IATs, with good powerband, it can be 50 psi for all I care.
I don't know much about VD () but does it need to know gear ratios to calculate things out? I would think so, and an error there seems like a logical explanation of different power levels in different gears?

While I haven't kept my build thread here up to date, I did start one here and I listed out my goals at the beginning. It took longer/costed more than I wanted it to, but the goals have been achieved. 350whp with instant response, no lag, torque everywhere and daily driver reliability.

I built the head for this car back in 2013. It's seen 8,800 RPM many times, and lots of boost. Last time I had the head off, every valve clearance was at the exact clearance I set it at within 1/2 a thousandth, and every valve sealed perfectly filling the ports with brake parts cleaner. It's solid. Also has ARP's torqued to 65 with a calibrated that-day torque wrench. So far it's working great.
