Rotrex Supercharger RPM Sensor
Sharing something I just finished developing for the HyperMiata, and I made a few extras in case other people are interested in this solution. Basically it's an RPM sensor for the Rotrex.
Most of us calculate theoretical SC RPM based on engine RPM, but this requires making a few assumptions that may not match reality. With actual SC RPM data visible by the ECU you can then overlay engine and supercharger RPM to identify belt slip and other issues before they become larger problems, and having actual RPM data also equips you with concrete info to help you with evaluating pulley size changes, supercharger efficiency, how close to the unit's redline you are, etc.
The kit uses a split collar with embedded rare earth magnets and a high frequency hall effect sensor for very precise signal. Compatible with any standalone ECU. All you have to do is make a bracket to mount the hall effect sensor in the appropriate position (I can't supply this as the bracket design will vary with each application), and wire the sensor to your ECU. 👍
