Intercooling piping size for sc

Intercooling piping size for sc
So I'm replacing my rusty steel intercooler piping, which was 2.25"OD with aluminum piping, and I mistakenly ordered 2"OD. Would this be a restriction? I'm only shooting for 230-240whp for now, maybe 300whp someday. I've done some searching and understand the differences in math, but was more interested if this would make a real world difference.

It depends on how you are routing it and such. If doing over the radiator then yes 2". If doing the standard around the side and up then you can get away with 2.25". The bigger the pipe just means more **** you can hit. When I turbo my NB in the spring I will be using 2" pipe everywhere.
