I would love to see a speeduino section. Most of my research and tuning has been done through a plethora of different websites. It would be super handy to have around here!
I agree. Doing a build with a speeduino now. So far I have had good success other than issues with AC idle up. I suspect there will be a lot more users going the speeduino route just for price, which if we are honest, really can't be beat.
Speeduino seems to be more and more popular, especially among Miata owners. Plenty of tribal knowledge around it that would be great to have typed up and organized.
I've had one for a few years, might as well share some knowledge. When I was first setting it up the wiki/manual was garbage and didn't describe the differences between some settings and this caused a lot of frustration.
When you're first setting up the ve table make sure this option is turned off:
Right now the wiki basically says "don't use this" but it's easy to overlook. It's a very shitty version of o2 sensor feedback that will cause huge lean spikes as it tries to compensate for acceleration enrichment and will constantly be messing with the injector pulsewidth and as far as I can tell there are no options to tune the feedback loop. It's running even when the correction algorithm in the AFR/o2 menu is disabled.
Also, if you have the old MX5 PNP unit straight from the speeduino shop you will find this useful for setting it up on a 1994 1.8:
I see they just added proper support for a/c in the latest firmware version so I'm going to mess with that next.
Day 891 of asking for a dedicated Speeduino section. Is there a way to actually request that, or do we just have to complain enough for the forum admins to notice us?

Been running my n02c based speeduino on my 1990 turbo for around 4 years...modded the firmware to run sequential....
here's what I'm running for timing and AFR target maps
