looking to trade my new 6758 for 6258 supercore.
I bought this TSE kit recently on here and after thinking some, I feel a 6258 will better suit my stock engines internals instead of a 6758 on low boost. My supercore is brand new and has only been idled to prime with oil. Id like to trade for a 6258 super core that's new or very low miles. I'dl also be willing to sell outright if I can get close to the price of a 6258 supercore.

The kit I bought came with the 6758 so I didn’t have a choice. I’m building my car more towards a track day car than a big power figure one so the added transient response will come in useful. I already have the low boost canister but I’m MS2 and don’t have boost control so it’s going to be laggy. I’ve found a super core for $900 so I sell the 6758 supercore for $800.

Why not run 10-12 psi of boost on your stock block and just do a good job tuning and mitigate boost overshoot?
I have a 6258 and drove with wg wired shut to 11 psi and can honestly say thats my target now even with a built engine.

he needs to stay under 10 psi on a 6758.
I dyno my 6258 at wastegate only, which gave me 10-11 psi and 250hp and 221tq. So a 6758 will yield a bit more.
fyi, I run my 6258 with ebc off on the track, this gives me 250hp and plenty fast spool, since on the track you are at high rpm all the time. I imagine 6758 is not that far off spool wise.

OP, I thought the plan was to build your motor? Even if you don't have EBC running, you'll have solid spool with the 6758 and an MBC.
Though really, you should join the club and get an MS3! Or buy mine so I can buy the pro from brain!
Truthfully though, you'll easily get into the 320-350 range with the 6258 on pump gas if that's what you want to max things out at.
