Great looking setup guys, thanks for taking the time to make the video. A question when you guys get a sec - The 6spd can be filled from the shifter up top and I imagine the fluid can be forced back that way as well, have you had to work out a way to keep the fluid level under control so it doesn't come out the top?

I am thinking that we won't have to overfill it by more than 1/2 quart to accommodate the volume of fluid that will fill the lines (not including the cooler, which I don't think will drain back). Given that, I am not too worried about fluid coming out of the top of it. I will have the pump running during the fill and will check the level as I go to make sure that I don't add way too much. The pumps will run whenever the car is running.

I just installed a e46 differ cooler, nearly identical to your setup except with a Tilton pump. Their instructions suggest a pre-filter (forget the micron #), and running the cooler pre-pump, to keep the hot fluid out of the pump for longevity. Food for thought. Great looking setup otherwise.
for filling, put the return line (should be attached to the diff fill hole) on the drain hole, and put the feed line in a bottle of preferred fluid, turn on the pump until it comes out the diff fill hole. Now your pump, cooler, lines, and diff are full. Plug the drain with your finger and quickly swap lines. I loose only a few drops doing it this way, and purposefully plumb the lines with enough length for the swap.

This is not John's happy place. Single most time consuming part of the build is the wiring. As mentioned before, it's 100% from stock, no OEM components. All new connectors. Custom built with an eye towards possible enduro use later on. So
ABS, cool suit, radios, external LED marker lights, light under hood and interior, big LED headlights, sensors on everything, big fuel pump, twin high amp fluid pumps in trunk, twin fans in trunk. I'm probably forgetting something but basically as future-proofed as we can make it.
Shock tower reinforcement bar ended up too close to DP so we had to put a dimple in it. That will allow room for a heatshield. That brake line loop is really close to the DP so we want max insulation there.
Did a Blackstone report on the motor post UTCC and saw lots of lead and copper. Doh. Motor coming out for new bearings. We'll see if we can make adjustments to the build or maybe bump viscosity to improve bearing life.
As it stands, it's about a 25hr motor at 400whp/7800rpm. I think we can do better. Didn't burn oil and compression is great though.
Valve cover and square top PC'd orange. Many bling.
