QuickJack BL-5000 portable lift (SF Bay Area)
SOLD
I no longer have a use for my Quickjack, so I am selling it for $900 obo, SF Bay Area local pickup only. I can bring it to M@WRLS.
It is the original version, non-SLX, 12V Quickjack BL-5000. This NLA version is one of the only ones that is both sturdy enough to lift larger cars (5000lb max) and small enough to fit an NA/NB Miata. For many revisions of the newer SLX models, only the lighter-duty 3500lb version will fit a Miata.
The lift is in excellent condition. The wiring is upgraded over the factory setup to allow easier attachment of a car battery and the stock remote; the original wiring was fairly barebones.

It works well and is very fast, but my particular workspace situation and trailer setup lead to me not using it in the shop or at the track as much as I thought. I have no idea how level it needs to be, but it at least needs to be smooth enough under each frame so there are no pressure points.

Unrestricted center section is great for almost all stuff under the car. Side access becomes a non issue after you use it a couple times.
Not to mention it's just about the perfect height to do stuff like brakes while sitting on one of those little seats.
If you can afford it, get one, you won't regret it.
