Well, there are Regional A and regional B boxes, up to 15 lb and 20 lb respectively. Order them for free at USPS.com There are no other Rgional boxes, doing online shippign with them is a little convoluted (you have to check "shipping by weight" instead of "Flat Rate") and PayPal doesn't allow them when preparing a label via PayPal. Still, they do save money and I have one going out to a Miataturbo buyer just now, about $3 cheaper than medium Flat Rate box.
Here's the pricing comparison and good explanation: What are Regional Rate Boxes? Note A1 and A2, B1 and B2 - they are different shape/isze boxes, so you might want to order a bundle of each from USPS. They "sell" them (for $0 delivered) in bundles of 10, Honestly, they are great for shipping small heavier stuff. Not great for lighter larger things.

Brainz, dead pedal is easy enough, I'll get started. Can you pull me some measurements and angles and **** for the cubby?
Science, $15 for the cupholder, $13.65 for shipping, medium flat rate box. That would probably work as long as the shifter wouldn't hit it or push the boot up so it falls out. What size do you want the cupholders themselves? soda can/energy drink, coffee mug, gatorade bottle, etc? I'll need some measurements:

Similar to how they have gauge housings on the dash for 3 gauges, but have it curved to the contour of the gauge cluster cover. Maybe have it house 1 or 2 gauges (I'm planning 2 on the right and 1 on the left). Double sided tape could work or for those that want to mold it to blend with the dash, that works too. I'm lazy so I like tape 😁

Nile, Thanks man, that's super helpful
Science, Next week assuming I can ever get this current print done, keep running into hardware issues.
Maine, the corvette version should be just about as easy to remove, but I can do either version, still need those measurements for that style though.
Drex, like the garage vary type?
Shamrock, well 100 degrees in direct sunlight can hit 172 according to the CDC, so you may be right on it being a little cooler than 180, but it can get toasty. We'll see how the test print goes, but I'm tentatively estimating $30 shipped for the corvette style which seems reasonable to me.
Kraken, I agree. I haven't printed much in different colors, my filament sensor is disconnected, so the only issue would be the chemical properties of the dyes and the heat characteristics of them, but I have heard that black and white are harder to print. Definitely agree on PETG, I prefer it over everything. I can get it for the same price as PLA and ABS and it prints easily with no issues and holds up nearly to where ABS could.
Hues, That I can definitely do. Tentatively looking at $30 shipped for the corvette style.

Ok, full disclosure: printer is having issues, just had several back to back failures for a total of 49 hours of lost print time, so less than happy with that. I've still got a list, and I'll be going through the printer more in depth to troubleshoot problems. For the time being the printer is down. I'll update when I've got it back running with successful prints. I'm sorry for any inconvenience. I'll still be actively designing, so feel free to continue throwing ideas my way and I'll keep working on them.

You could prevent that in PLA by annealing it in a fixture after its printed. Every time that got really hot in the car it slightly relieved the internal stress from the differential cooling during printing. Just heat the oven up to like 150 and put some stiff metal around the cup holder and then put it in and turn the oven off and let it cool down. to room temperature.

As I futz with possible new intake, I was thinking.... it would be possible to print a filter heat shield for behind the passenger headlight of an NB right? I mean, there would be two flat pieces. basically, and i would join them with some hinge or strong tape or something like that. Similar to what's been described here: https://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=406171
