Hey Everybody!!! Need help with my car
Hey people, so I have a 1992 Miata that I plan to completely build for turbo. I don't want to cheap out and slap a turbo on and call it a day, I want to build the motor and instal a good *** turbo on it. Also I want it to be my daily, not when I building it tho obviously. My main goals for the car are for it to have at least 400whp with a turbo with an inducer of at least 65 mm. I also want to have the waste gate come out of the hood like the Hooicorn v2 lmao and I want to have an eco mode where I can set the engine for only 2 cylinders and have it super economical while on the highway or such. I need to get an MS3 first tho but I was wondering if anybody could help me set up a parts list like the turbo, pistons, etc. Thanks!

swap an ls.
in reality, I believe you’ll be spending a lot to get the Miata to a point you want it, and possibly not as daily-able as you’d like

Hmmm. You have a 92. Start by selling it and buying a 94-up. Or buy the engine, differential, axles, driveshaft, and more from the newer cars. You won't need the transmission because no miata transmission holds 400whp. You will need about $3500 for the transmission swap kit and needed components and then $500-800 for the transmission itself. Figure $1000 for the ecu, $400-up for injectors, $150-200 for wideband, then radiator, brakes, coilovers, wheels, tires, rollbar, etc.
Then about $3500-up for the turbo, exhaust system, intercooler, and plumbing to make 400whp.
Then figure about $2500-up for engine build and components.
