Finally coming out!
Hi guys!
First off my name is Ariel (yea like the mermaid).I'm from Miami but spend time in Daytona for school. I'm a 19 year old engineering student that thinks he can fix everything and reinvent the wheel. Even though this has set me back a bit I'm glad that I tend to learn from my mistakes. I have worked at a mechanics shop for 4 years and have owned my 95 c package montego blue miata for three years now.
Incomming mod list:
SUSPENSION
tokico shocks and springs
Tranklite gear wheels
205 50 r15 dunlop dirrezzas
depowered rack
INTERIOR
Nb dash swap with push to start button(what a PITA)
Sparco Sprint with 5 point harness
full nb black carpet swap
Hardog ace Bar
ENGINE
Slow 1.8
Cx-racing mani and ic piping
garret turbo (not churbo)
Built bottom end stock head (volvo springs)
1.6 real pressure sendor mod
coolant reroute (obviously)
(Ready for the hate) Honda radiator... Long story
BODY
Montego blue soon to be merlot
Hardtop incoming
A bunch of dents. Because "they add character"
If you havn't figured it out already I'm really eager to learn. Throughout the time I have had my miata, I have pulled apart and reassembled practically everything on the car. I'm looking forward to extending my knowledge and being able to share what I already know with others that may have questions.
Now for the needy newb to ask for help!
I know there is a search button for me to use before I ever ask questions, the only problem being, I dont really have any questions right now. What I would love is if you guys could suggest things to read up on, whether it be posts, books, articles, ect. Everything helps!
If you've read this far you really deserve a cookie. Thank you all and im looking forward to your replies!

Well the things you have done have put you in SSM class at a minimum, and you have a terrible suspension and a turbo manifold that's going to crack, so you're not going to be competitive.
Just keep on keeping on and enjoy the car as a street car and make it yours. Replace the things that break/suck with better things. Learn some things. It's how most of us started.

Hi.
Mandatory reading is "the stolen and flipped build thread".
lite reading
That will take you a while, so take frequent breaks browsing the random pictures thread.
Our search function actually sucks, so go to Google and type in miataturbo.net followed by whatever you're searching for.
You'll have better luck finding what you're looking for using that method.
