I had problems with VVT going away after driving for a few minutes, and I cured it pretty easily. I believe it was caused by changes in oil viscosity. I had originally calibrated the VVT as soon as the coolant came up to temp. Basically just go drive it and recalibrate your VVT min/max thresholds while the oil is up to full temp. Not just water to temp. Oil to temp.
FWIW, this is what my log looked like:

How to recalibrate your VVT min/max threshold? - I can't find any specifics on it besides just looking at my logs which don't help much

Tried adjusting that option, don't think it did much :(
still trying to dial in my boost with vlad.. we went from 200kpa(14.5psi) to almost 240 kpa , car is struggling to maintain the boost - need to adjust EBC some more to hold correctly but it kicks.., pic attached shows two 14 psi pulls and two Almost 20 psi pulls.
Flex sensor is on the way.. i don't want to push it past this for now, going to try to fix VVT issues.
next goal 300 kpa e85 :O

So turns out my VVT is fine - it was just configured wrong. I found a few posts on the forums here that were very helpful last night in setting my min / max VVT values.
TY y8 who made this post in the first place - only a few details missing out.
0. create gauges on the dashboard for VVT angle 1. (AND VVT TARGET 1)
1. enable the test output.
2. set test output duty to 0%
2b. start the car.
3. look at the VVT angle 1 and write it down. note this as "minimum". (min and max angle must be 0 for you to see the current angle)
3a. Add +44/45 for your max value
disable VVT test output
4. DONE
start up, My errors gone, My spool is better, hating my higher compression 9:5 at the moment cause my HP SUCKS, then again the tune is very conservative i believe!
I think I'll be more content on E85. My sensor has arrived with the pigtail, going to be wiring that in soon as i get this
Boost control does need some work up top it seems as it seems to be creeping down - but for the most part the car is almost dialed in (on 93 pump gas)

Fix one thing, time to fix a lot of others....
Removed my M2 rollbar cause it was slapping my hardtop near the latching areas.
Thinking i need to tackle my grounds at this point cause i keep blowing fuses - First my power door locks go, and now my headlight motors after a drag session.
/sigh - at-least the 3.6 rear end didn't break this time..
These are the best times i could do with my broken hand - my 4th finger is fractured - its actually awkwardly painful to shift sometimes with my cast on.
I was being very polite on my launches this time
After that session I very much want to add in my flex sensor and fill up a 55 gal drum with E85 and go at it again but for some reason my car just wont idle right yet and sometimes dips enough to stall me out, normally during cold starts it seems.

Yolo
had quite a bit of an adventure trying to pick up some e85 fuel. The gas attendant was paying too much attention to me and my 55 gal drum, it's made of plastic, hdpe with a vent. Guy wouldn't let me fill up because of container had no labels. Went to Staples and picked up some label paper and made my own Based off google images. Based on my research this should be fine for e85. Planning on tuning my car on my own at this point since Vlad has a 3 week delay and I'm up for learning new things.
my knowledge with megasquirt is only getting better. Pretty positive I can do this just based on the information given by vlad savingron and others across several threads.
Plan is 350ish and some 1/4 runs, then upp

You could stab, shoot, and set somebody on fire next to a gas pump here and probably would not gather the attention of most attendants. And you should see the things that get filled with fuel when a hurricane approaches.

I am seriously considering moving away.
Picked up a siphon for my tank, time to tune away
