11's on the Motor, 9's on the Nitrous

Honestly a naturally aspirated 4 cyl miata should fool a lot of people. A v8 miata sounds fast, even with big mufflers, so that's usually a giveaway, but your car will sound buzzy and annoying, and to most street racers (i'm gunna say all of them, lol) if they dont hear/see a turbo or supercharger, they won't think its fast. With nitrous, even if they guess you have it, they won't think its enough to make a 150mph car.

Spent the whole day tackling my nemesis, wiring.
Got pretty much all the hard stuff done. I mostly need to wire the switches, a few of the accessories and repair a few lights. My next work session I should be testing. I need to locate a few things. My horn isn’t working, anyone have a good one?
I also worked out and installed the nitrous purge solenoid and most of its plumbing. Still need to mount a full throttle switch, and fun button.
Once the wiring is done, motor and trans comes back out, and I start plumbing the brakes.

Thanks for the tip, but the entire wiring harness is now totally gutted. Horn was tested off the car and appears dead.
Horn button will likely be relocated to dash or center console.

Didn’t get as far as I hoped today, but did tape up part of the harness. There are a few flaws that need tidying up, but I am getting closer. I know it looks like a cluster, but it’s not as bad as it looks. It will be nice and neat when I am done. Also finished up the nitrous plumbing.

I find the pop up lights to be one of the most important identity traits of an NA. They stay, but I will be making stands to hold up an extra set of the light assembly’s sheet metal lids for trips to the drag strip.

How did I ever miss this thread?!?!
I have been wanting to do a naturally aspirated miata with a 200 hp shot (or more) direct port for a long time. But I’m reluctant because you don’t see any big shot nitrous four cylinder motors out there to learn from. Even among the Honda K motor community, the biggest reliable set up seems to be around a 125 shot.
I have no problem building a built by motor. I just want to make sure it can handle the cylinder pressure and torque of a big nitrous shot. I’m not even sure if it can gulp that much nitrous. The guys over at NX nitrous don’t think it can.
