Newish guy from West TN
So I've been a lurker for quite a while, I really like to look and learn. I've asked a question here and there, but never got around to this. So here goes...
My name is Dave, and I'm in Western TN as of a couple years. I bought my first Miata in 1998 after getting rid of my 97 Z28 (Loved that car). I bought a 92 Silver with 78K that I quickly fell in love with the handling. I shortly added Koni yellows, FM (Dealer Alternative at that time) Sways, and sportier tires. Car mostly stayed that way until summer 2012 when my daughter got into an accident with it. She got a little banged up, but mostly fine (she owns a couple Miatas herself now). Short story, with only 350k miles on it, we decided it needed to be brought back to life. Still driving it regularly...now with 396k.
It was only a couple weeks before this happened that I purchased a 2004 MazdaSpeed with 48k. This was a daily driver for about 4 years, and is now the toy.
I'll have a build(s) thread shortly with gory details, but this car is mostly a fun street car and local autocross car. I live in the country with a lot of empty curvy roads where the Miata just loves to go.
I want to thank the many members here who have helped me without even knowing.
