Could be a similar approach on NA, or totally irrelevant.

2 3" 90*'s from silicone intakes trimmed to fit and joined to a K&N filter by a short piece of 3" aluminum pipe.
Originally used a bigger filter, but it wouldn't clear the hood. Quick and dirty math says this filter will support ~200hp before becoming a restriction.

The cannon brace is in. It took a bit more doing than the butterfly brace. I had about 1/8" interference between the mid pipe and the removable section of the cannon brace designed to let through the exhaust pipe.
I ended up having to bend 3 exhaust hangers about 1/4" to get good clearance:
1) Midpipe hangar. I just put a floor jack under the hangar and bent it up a little without even removing it. Done.
2) The one hangar welded directly to the muffler. I put the hangar in a vice & malletized it with a 3 lb sledge.
3) The exhaust hangar welded to a custom mounting bracket that comes with your MK kit. I had to bend this one up a bit again using a vice & sledge.
Because the interference was right at the bend in the tail end of the mid pipe, I only had to bend the hangars about 1/4", but now the tightest clearance from the brace is almost 1/2". I couldn't get the exhaust to make contact with the brace by jerking it around, but we'll see how it do while driving.

Lars still alive?
Has anyone heard from Lars recently (like within the last week or two)? I ordered a kit from him right before Thanksgiving, and he still hasn't gotten all of the parts to me. He still owes me an exhaust manifold and the exhaust hanger. He has not responded to any of my emails after new years break. Has anyone else been able to get a reply out of him within the last week or two? Does anyone have his phone number?
