Been thinking about responding to your CL ad for laughs. Want to sell me the fuel pump/level sender assembly?
Of course I want the diff, axles and driveshaft as well but can't manage it currently.
Glad you made it home safe.

last weekend I was supposed to take my car to Laguna because we booked a track day for my dad but he said he couldn't make it. Turns out he was able to go so we took his car instead. Being it was a 105db day, its the only time he can take his e90 m3 out and pass the sound limit.
LOTS of people took advantage of the 105db limit. There was the most exotics and race teams I had ever seen at a track day in my life.
Please excuse the potato quality pics. I tried.
The guy in the 4c asked me if I could ride with him and give him some pointers as he was new to the track. That car is fun. You can hear it spooling right behind your head, making all the right noises. The carbon tub is also extremely ridgid.
My dads car is the m3 to the left. I have footage from both cars, but this was my dads first time at laguna on nt01s, and he had no idea what his car could do, so he was going WAY to slow everywhere. I think his best was a 1:56. So I wont link the footage.
this thing is so cool.
There we a lot of caymans out there. This is only a few.
I think there were like 6-7 new Viper ACRs out there, along with a handful of the previous gen cars.
430 Scuderia. Best sounding car at the event IMO. Just screams.
The guy in the middle of the photo is the owner of BRR racing. We had a chat with him about how my dads car was losing him out of 2nd gear. Which then lead to his story of how BRR came to be. Nice guy.
Just an LMP car. Nothing special. Move along.
A BRR Cayman Clubsport racecar.
I couldn't tell if this was an airel atom or an exoset. But it had a k-series in it and a gt1000 wing and splitter from Moti.
And that was pretty much it for the day. I was overwhelmed with all of the cars there so I didn't get pics of all of them.
Next post. I will venture out to Buttonwillow for my first time. Stay tuned.

OK, Buttonwillow. Where to start?
Wednesday evening I am in panic mode trying to find someone to notarize a minor waiver (im 17) so I can drive on track on friday. I forgot that thursday was thanksgivingso nobody would be open and it is already after-hours for UPS or the like. I called 24 hour notary services but they wanted $120 to sign a form. Thurdasy morning I make a post on Facebook asking if anyone knows someone who can do it for me. Eventually a new friend of mine sent me a link to a private notary. I called, she said she could do it for $5 right now. I was promptly on my way.
Brian Z, a fellow MT.neter and good friend of mine has been on the fence about attending the friday track day. He said he would go with me but didn't want to drive because he wanted to save the wear and tear on his car for next weekends roadster cup event . I eventually convinced him to drive and we both register. After thanksgiving dinner, Brian comes over to my house where I am attempting to cram 3 of my 245 RC1s into the passenger side of my car. I wish I got a picture of this. We eventually succeed (Brian took the 4th one in his passenger seat), and head out to the track at about 8pm. Brian had the bright idea of bringing walkie talkies and it worked out quite well. We were able to discuss random things on the drive over to keep me entertained as my radio wouldn't work because my wing was blocking the antenna and my aux wasn't working either. Around 11:45pm we pull into the parking lot of the Super 8, check in, and hit he sack.
The next morning, we drive to the track, complete registration, and unload our belongings. We scramble to throw my RC1s on 10mins before our 1st session after my sizzor jack contraption decided that it didn't like me anymore. 1st session out, I take it slow, and try to learn the track. By the end of the day, I was in love. Buttonwillow is my new favorite track. My hardtop made a HUGE difference in rear downforce. So much to the point that my front end was pushing. And my car never used to push. It was always tail-happy.
Puling off track, I plug in my computer, open TS, and my IAT reads 130. I ordered a Precision intercooler last night from Andrew. I cant believe my motor has put up with that high of IATs for this long and not detonated yet. Because of the high IATs, the car felt slow, which is why I have a hard time catching that civic and othor cars that I normally blow by.
Here is footage of a later session I the day. I had a lot of fun with the s2k through the day. We were evenly matched on power and cornering speeds (I was a little faster though corners). I recorded a 2:03.xx. I know if I did not hit traffic I could have done a sub 2 lap. If anyone has any tips for me, I am all ears. I wasn't quite sure what to do with onramp and a few other corners.
1st lap is a warm up lap. Also, excuse the rattle. I tried to fix that the night before but I ended up just making it worse. Its just the exhaust touching my bracing.

that swan neck tho..
This was the s2k I was playing with.
End of the day, ready to head home.
Roadster Cup is next weekend. Brian and I will both be there. Emilio and Ryan will rape me in Unlimited class. Ill be sure to move out of the way once I spot them coming 1/2 a lap away.
