V8R Billet motor mount
Anyone running these ? I can't find much info on them.

Seems cool. Half OEM ( and AWR ? ) weight. Available in a slightly lower duro for 'street applications'. Can move the motor back 1" though I'm not sure if that's ever going to be useful but its an option.
Currently cheaper too due to the sale.

Seems no one is really using that setup. Too new ?
I'm pretty conflicted. Seems cool but I'm a bit concerned about how strong the two bolts holding the pieces together are when compared to the AWR mount which seems much stronger welded.
But the plus side is with that design .. it seems easy enough to drill a new hole and lower the motor a bit ( like the blackbird mount does ).

Got mine installed today. Not quite "around half OEM weight" as advertised even when compared to the larger NB2 mounts that came out of the car ... but still seems like a well made piece with roughly 3# weight saving and does seem to holds my engine in place better than competition rubber mounts. I'll take it.

Just a quick heads up to those considering this mount with an already tight engine bay. These motor mounts actually shifts your motor a little bit. For me, that little bit was enough to press my turbo water line against the frame and cause headaches.
Before discovering this, while under the car putting the transmission back in, I didn't realize why it was so hard to line up the PPF to the trans. It took ALOT of force on the tail of the trans up to get the bolts to go in. I thought at the time it was just due to the stiffer mount resisting engine movement. After discovering this, I realized I was actually pushing my turbo water line into my frame the entire time.
Found this out at about 12:30AM and at 1AM start to jack my motor back up to swap out motor mounts. Not a fun night.
With the rubber competition mounts back in on one side, clearance went back to normal and there's plenty of room for my lines although now the engine seems to be 'titled' over a bit. So far it seems to be working fine with no issue after a full 2 day autox weekend so .. fingers crossed.
