Pic dump from my phone. Some of the detail shots really show the beautiful machined parts.
The new shifter has the best feel of any shifter I can remember ever. It's that good. Great delineation between gates and very positive action. Tight, slick action much like a good bolt action rifle.
Tony's done a lot of work in a really tight garage. He's been working diligently and has only been held up by small parts missing or not having specialty tools.

Also, turn the shifter around 180 degrees so the groove in the threads is pointed towards the front of the car. That groove is for a set screw built into our shift **** so you can set the position and it won't spin. The ***** didn't ship with the trans kits because they came in with a couple issues that need to be corrected, so they will be sent to everyone separately in a couple weeks or so.

Preach! A good chunk of the expense of this trans kit was doing the shifter parts right. We incorporated all the upgrades from the premium $400+ BMW short shifter kits into this design. I have many early versions of shifter plates, shifters, and selector rods sitting here as a reminder of how much work went into it.

Busy week so far at work so just a quick update. Got the radiator put in...must say it does look nice. Also plugged in the oil pressure sender relocation line. I will mount the sender for the racepak to the firewall. Picking up my freshly welded and powder coated rear subframe and differential mount on Friday so should be able to get the rest of the drivetrain on the car.

Got my subframe back--freshly welded with the getrag bracket and powder coated the same gray as the other pieces. The upgraded hubs and axles are showed up as well. They are beefy as ****.
Started putting on one side...got tired so Ill finish tomorrow but starting to look the part.
Also got a set of PCI seat brackets for my future seats not yet ordered. Look to be a nice piece of kit as well.

Looking GREAT!
If that is a bottle of Water Wetter I see there, DO NOT use it with any kind of antifreeze. Use Motul MoCool instead, if you really want to use an additive. Certain chemicals in Water Wetter polymerize in reaction to certain chemicals in many modern coolant formulas. That reaction creates a black or brown sludge in the cooling system.
