Retaining TB and Oil Cooler lines with reroute?
hey folks. I have been searching but haven’t found what I’m looking for. I want to know the best way to retain the small coolant hoses for the TB and oil cooler when removing the neck and doing a full reroute. I could drill and tap the block off plate for the head but someone mentioned something about the pressure with the reroute might starve the factory oil cooler this way? Any help is appreciated. I know some people delete the lines but I would like to retain the oil cooler and TB coolant function if possible.

I also deleted my front water neck and wanted to keep all of the waterlines. So, I tapped a 1/8 npt tee where the barb on the mixing manifold used to be and used that for TB line/Turbo line. Also, you can run the waterline from the throttle body behind the timing cover, and down to the mixing manifold for the cleanest look. Then secure the line with 2 P-clamps bolted into the backside of the stock timing plate.

If the water for the throttle body and oil cooler come from the back of the head they must go to the mixing manifold. If they go to the front of the head then there will be no water flow at all. They would be taking water from the head to the head and there is no flow that way.
