PFC 11 vs G-LOC r12
Hi guys. I am in the market for my next set of pads. I just went through a set of G-LOC r12 pads and I liked them, although I was able to overheat them in some heave braking zones after 2 laps around laguna. How does the PFC 11 stack up against the r12? Ive heard good things about them. But nobody has compared the two. So if you have any input. It would be greatly appreciated.
BTW: I do daily drive the car so that is something to consider as well. Although both are carbon pads so cold torque should still be quite good. I am not a fan of the noise my last pads produced. SO if the PFC are better in that regard, that is a plus.
Here are pics of my last pads. Notice how much meat is left in these. Its a shame the wear bars stick out so far.

Only addressing noise and street. I have the PFC11 on stock 1.8 brakes. Front and back. No backing shims, just installed with a bit of moly grease. By 'backing shims' I mean the flat ones.
They have never squealed.
They bite on the first application. Fine for street.

You won't be disappointed. We run PFC 97's and 11's on our Chump Car (depending on availability) and we've never had an issues. As sixshooter mentioned, we've run them down to the backing plate with only a little performance issue noticed. I also run them on my HPDE car and they work great. I remove them for the street though because they wear too quickly for daily use. They like to get hot and stay hot. We get more track hours out of the pads we run in the endurance race than I do on my HPDE car.
