I've attempted to do it that way a few times and always feel like I'm gonna cross-thread the bolt going into the side of the seat, it's also a really tight fit getting the bolt in on the side of the trans tunnel, maybe I'm just not talented enough lol

Small cars will have it's challenges, but anything is possible.

Any input/products you can show me that would let my wife and i use sliders on driver seat of the car i'm building for her, but also stay low enough to pass a broomstick test? Seats in question likely Sprints, which sit us both plenty low in my car mounted on PCI V1s.

I like these Planted brackets, will plan on using one for the passenger seat fo sho.

Noting i can actually "show". we don't have installation services so we have no final pictures. i can tell you from seeing cars with the planted side mounts that, a sprint ,+ planted passes a broomstick test with a hard dog hardcore, and a driver under 6'. although any number of things can change that.

Could you get these dimensions ? trying to see if it will fit my cobra suzuka, pci mount interferes in the front and at lap belt hole.

Can't recommend these brackets. Picked up a set of NB passenger mounts from OG, the slots that mount to the seat humps were almost an inch off. Was in a time crunch for an instructor clinic so I couldn't return them, so I just drilled out the rear slots to make them fit. No fault to OG and I don't know about the driver's side versions, but the QA on these leaves a lot to be desired.

sorry to hear that! You did buy the NB brackets correct? as the NA and NB mounts are different. if so I will alert planted immediately to have that issue resolved.

Milkman appears that you received NA brackets according to planted. We don't know if it was a shipping, labeling, or a packaging mistake but we do apologize. I have sent you a discount code as an apology. thank you for helping us source the mistakes and make our systems work better.

Looking at dimension of Champ-R it looks like they are too big for Miata without cutting metal or the seat.
590 shoulders and 520 base. I thought to fit it needed to be >570mm and >490mm?
