Supermiata Qmax Coolant Reroute
#82
Fill coolant, leave cap off, start engine, hold steady at 3k to get the engine up to temp constantly topping off the coolant as the motor comes up to temp. Turn engine off and top off while still hot.
Let engine cool completely. Top off coolant, cap on. Done.
Never had issues with that process.

Just got the kit and the parts are beautiful! I feel bad putting the housing on the back of the motor.
Quick noob question... searched and couldn't find an answer from anyone I trust.
The kit gives you the option of removing the small coolant line that runs from the back of the motor to the oil warmer/cooler (have seen it called both), to the throttle body and then the front of the motor. I already have the throttle body bypassed.
Is it okay to go ahead and remove that line altogether leaving the oil warmer/cooler with no coolant flowing through it?
