yes, the signal/wifi was so spotty, it was rough that we couldn't all get together at the same time

We got in later than expected (Wednesday night instead of tuesday), and then spent a lot of time fighting mechanical issues. :(

Yeahhhh.... they actually changed the number vs my reservation, and didn't really have a way to relay that info. Le sigh.

 

It was also just trying to catch people a the right times. Who was going on what runs, and where folks where in general. A centralized meeting point is moot if there's no one to meet there.

Basically you want to do the runs that Marcus is leading/organizing. They leave from the grill. (A&W run, Donut Run in the past, Brewery Run)

There may be a lot more people that come to this event than you'd think.... there flat out isn't space for everyone to meet at the main lower parking lot by the general store.

 

If only the lobby had WiFi and there was a central discussion about the event or something...........oh well

 

Fun fact: I haven't been able to post on this site from my phone in over a year. It just flat out doesn't work. Too many obtrusive ads for me to be able to log in, it just locks up and becomes unresponsive. :( IB broke it.

As much traffic as US129 gets now on a yearly basis it would be nice if Verizon dropped a tower in somewhere.

 

As an uninitated MATG noob, I didn't know the lay of the land. I was stoked when I saw "most disease" and the turbo kitteh on Steve's car.

 

I was about 20min away from Fontana at one of their small cabins earlier in the year and had great 4G cell signal. It is hard to believe that Fontana signal would be far worse.
