For those who are following, the Xidas are amazing. I honestly thought it wasn't going to be that drastic of a difference considering the spring rates. These ride better than the coils I had in there by miles. I was shocked when I first drove it.
I took the car on a super rough road and it just ate the bumps like nothing. The digressive valving is great. I can't wait to take it to the track again.
Negatives: The car is a little bouncy/unstable over big undulations through corners. But I'm pretty sure its just that I have the shocks at full soft so I need to turn them up a couple clicks. Other than that, I'm in love. Best mod aside from turbo I have done. Well worth the money for sure.

Shocks feel miles better stiffened up. One thing seems a bit odd however, with the front wheels off, I can see the main spring isn't touching the tophat. It is my understanding that they should be in contact at all times. If I move the spring perch collar up, it will also increase ride height, so...... Im assuming thats normal?

track day last Wednesday at Laguna. First time out on the xidas and new tire/wheel setup. Unfortunately, I had pretty bad rubbing all round. Driving to the track was fine, but once I went on my first out lap it wasn't a pleasant experience. So I went back in and raised up the car 1/4" all round. I also removed the front and rear fender liners. I went out on the first lap of the second session and it was still rubbing.
I went back in, made more ride height adjustments, and borrowed a hammer to bend in some of the offending metal tabs that were gouging the tires. Thats all I could do. The next session was the Challenge session. Basically a open passing time attack session with a tightly packed grid (optional session). I had to start at the back because I had not put down a lap the whole day so I had no qualifying time. First two laps are no passing so cars could bunch up nice and tight before going green. Anyways, the car was still rubbing, but it was much better at this point and was only doing it down t6, the corkscrew, and t9. I just told myself to back off a little for the day through that section. This worked. I was able to put down a 1:47.5 which was good for 3rd in my class. if I had no rubbing issues and a good alignment, I feel I could shave a second or three off.
Here is the footage from that session. Unfortunately the video is cut short because my sd card got full. And yes, that red na is boosted. 250whp fully built 1.6.

I have to say. I am beyond impressed with the TSE Turbo kit. I have had zero issues with any of the hardware and am very happy about that. I thrashed the powertrain and it was rock solid. Im also surprised that it hasn't blown up yet. 5 track days at 11psi on a non perfect tune and still going strong.
Also, the xidas feel amazing. Turn in is much sharper, body roll is reduced, and balance feels great. I love these coilovers.

Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is tough to tune for because of the unusually harsh compressions. We usually run 1/4" more ride height there.
With ELBJ, 4.7" front pinch weld, 900/500 rates, 1.125 x.188 wall front, 14mm rear bar with 15x9 +36 and either 225/45 Super200's or 100tw, it should be able to go full boogie through the corkscrew. Anything less that that and it'll blow through the bump stops.
Most other tracks we can run 4.4~4.5" front pinch weld with 800 fronts and not rub anywhere. In any case, I like 900/500 everywhere now.
