Connect one side to +12v, the other side to spare on/off output on the ECU
Configure programmable i/o in software to activate at 2500rpm (close butterflies), deactive at ~5500rpm (open butterflies) (actual RPMs will vary depending on dyno testing)
I sent Driver a pm as he was asking me about it last weekend at Miatapalooza. I let him know that at least for the MS3X that braineack builds that he uses the Nitrous1 output to control vics. Not sure what the MSLabs or MS3Pro use, but I would guess it is similar.

Looks like Rev uses an output on his own CAN expander for the MSLabs units. At least that's how its configured on my '99 MS2 Enhanced from him
And to make sure we're all connecting it correctly for the next 8 years to come, configure your output like this:
Enabled: check
Power On Value: ON
Active Value: OFF
RPM > 5250 (YMMV)
Hysteresis 200 (YMMV)
Who here dares to admit that he has been running it backwards for the past 8 years? Anyone, Anyone ... Bueller?
PS I believe these settings would do the same, but not going to break my head over it , notice the < instead of >.
ON / ON / < 5250
OFF / ON / < 5250
Please, forgive my ignorance. Will I have to add this values to the MS3, after the VICS is hooked up? I haven't played with the Tuner Studio (shoot, I haven't downloaded yet). Thanks for your help!
