You will probably do well to never take me literally (or even seriously).
Speaking in general terms, here is what I have recently observed about FI Miatas at the track: if It isn't N/A, a Rotrex, one of FM's newer offerings with inconel, or presumably a TSE setup, its owner will be standing around with the hood up after session 2, what that "Come hither. I need to tell someone of my tales of woe." look in his eyes.

My miata chronicles currently involve my pushing my car so that the exhaust is outside the garage, trying to tune things, having it fail enough to start getting low voltage readings, then giving up, pushing the car back into the garage, and putting the battery back on the tender.
I remember a day when it used to move on it's own power. It'd be nice to drive this thing after spending 10-12hrs in the library... Soon, I hope!

When asked, Rev said there wasn't a good reason to upgrade. He said if there wasn't a particular function I was looking for then not to do it. I don't know what I'm missing and it runs fine.

The shot you posted looks pretty good, except I cannot understand more than a tiny bit of derivative (like 0-2). However, I've never played with more. AND, using Initial Values Table / Use MAT is work to tune, but worth the effort for consistency, IMO.

For future reference... when one gives the MAP sensor a vacuum source, one should make sure that said vacuum source is actually a vacuum source...
Car officially 'runs' on megasquirt. I just need to reload the basemap or copy-paste the VE idle table from the basemap because I had to mess with that with a false vac source and I want to start fresh. Hopefully I'll be driving it soon.
