9 years later, and I finally figured it out.

Very nice. I actually just picked up a K20Z1 this week too, for another little project....

Update!!!
Pulled RSX engine and trans, sold trans today. I have buyers lined up for rsx parts. I'm hoping this whole car will be gone by the end of next week. Then I can spend some money on important stuff.

The jeep...I have it set in my head that its going to get my miata's injectors and harness on a custom intake and fuel system...on the factory 1950 134ci flathead engine. With mega squirt 1 running fuel only.

Looking good. It will be a good feeling when all the RSX stuff is out of your way.

Sold trans for $500. I was told "you can get like 800-1000 for it on a forum with the linkage and shafts." The odometer on this car says 260,000 so I figured that's what the trans had on it, and I sold just the trans...no intermediate shaft or anything.
I do not plan on using this intake or throttle body, so yeah, I'd sell it. Not sure what its worth.

One thing I did notice, I unplugged the ECU and fed the wire harness through the firewall. Everything that plugs into the engine is still connected, cause I pulled the engine with the harness attached to it. However, the oxygen sensor harness isn't connected to the engine harness. It comes off a different harness that goes to the engine bay's fuse panel. Will I need this fuse box and harness?

Correct, just keep the sensor and it plugs right in to the harness and threads into the bung on our headers.

I wasn't happy with the fact that you can't make decent power on a BP without adding forced induction, and a standalone, and everything else. I just want all motor, factory reliability, simplicity. I have to much going on in my life right now to keep making changes to outdated technology. I think many members on here can agree, once you turbo your car, it's never done. It's like eating 1 potato chip...it's never enough.

I'm at that point. I'm done caring. I just want to drive it everyday like a normal car, change oil, put gas in it, and have daily no a/c no p/s hard suspension fun.

That said, I think he's also a pretty huge fan of putting things together haha. I've talked to him quite a bit and I honestly think that he'd be tempted to keep tinkering and tuning with an FI miata if he had one that was DD reliable.

Kudos on the build! So tempted.
